Terms of service
Last updated November 7, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you (the practice or person using the Service) and Casaway Capital LLC, doing business as Dental Document ("we," "us"), which offers Cusps through cusps.bot and the Cusps application (together, the "Service").
1. The Service
Cusps provides an AI-operated operations team for dental practices: an office manager persona ("Cusp"), a team of software agents ("bots"), and tools for supply ordering, equipment and maintenance, people and training, business finance, inbox and document handling, and research. The Service acts on your instructions and within the approvals and limits you set. Cusps handles the business operations of a practice. It does not provide clinical, legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice, and it is not a substitute for a licensed professional.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for the practice you register. You are responsible for your credentials, for the people you invite, and for the roles and permissions you give them. Owners control who may approve spending, which bots may act on their own, and which accounts are connected.
3. Plans and billing
Plans, prices, trials, and included usage are shown at signup and in the Service, and form part of these terms. Fees are billed in advance for each billing period. You may cancel at any time from the Service; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are not refundable except as required by law. Purchases you approve from suppliers, vendors, or service providers are paid by you to them under your own accounts and terms, and are not part of your subscription.
4. Approvals, spending, and your responsibility
Any action that spends money requires your approval, whatever setting a bot has. Other actions that reach people or organizations outside your practice, such as emails, texts, calls, bookings, and postings, require your approval unless you have set a bot to act on its own within limits you define. You are responsible for reviewing what you approve, including quantities, amounts, recipients, and content, and for your practice's compliance with the laws and professional rules that apply to it.
5. Supplier accounts, logins, and cloud computers
When you add an account with a supplier, vendor, or other website, you authorize the Service to sign in and act in that account on your behalf, as you direct and within the approvals you set. Logins you save are stored encrypted and are provided to a bot's cloud computer only when it signs in; they are not shown to AI models. You confirm that you are permitted to use each account this way under its terms. Bots work on isolated cloud computers that you may watch and take control of. Prices, availability, and order outcomes are set by each supplier, and we do not guarantee them. We are not affiliated with the suppliers or services you connect unless we say so.
6. Messaging, phone, and email
Each bot may have its own email address and phone number for texts and calls. You are responsible for having any consent the law requires before a bot texts or calls a person, for honoring opt-out requests, and for the content of messages you approve. Message and data rates from carriers may apply to people who text a bot. Calls and messages with bots may be recorded and transcribed so the Service can act on them.
7. No patient data
Cusps is built to run without patient data. You agree not to upload, send, or connect protected health information or other patient records to the Service, including through files, messages, or connected accounts. The Service checks uploads and incoming messages and sets aside and removes patient information it finds. If you need a practice management connection or other patient-data features, they are not part of this Service.
8. Employee and candidate information
If you use the Service for people work such as onboarding, training, time off, reviews, or hiring, you are responsible for having the right to provide employee and candidate information and for complying with employment laws. Do not store government identification numbers, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, bank or card numbers, or tax form values in the Service. Hiring, discipline, and termination decisions are made by you, not by the Service.
9. Financial information
If you connect accounting software, you authorize the Service to read it and to make only the changes you approve. Financial figures, forecasts, valuations, and comparisons are models and estimates based on the information available to the Service. You are responsible for decisions you make with them and for consulting your own accountant, attorney, or adviser.
10. Your content and ownership
You own the information, documents, records, and results you put into or create with the Service. You grant us the rights needed to operate the Service on your behalf. We own the Service, its bots, skills, and software; you receive a subscription to use them.
11. Connected accounts and third-party services
When you connect third-party accounts, you authorize the Service to act through them as you direct, subject to those services' terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, their prices, or their policies.
12. Acceptable use
You will not use the Service to break any law or professional rule, to contact people who have opted out, to access accounts you are not authorized to use, to upload malicious code, or to interfere with the Service or other customers.
13. AI outputs
The Service uses artificial intelligence to draft content, find information, and propose actions. Outputs can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on or approving them.
14. Warranties and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Our total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
15. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access for violation of these terms. After termination you may export your data for 30 days, after which we may delete it.
16. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Contact: contact@cusps.bot.
